My name is Tanya.
Sometimes a moment of reflection or talking to a friend is all we need to help us weather a rough patch. Other times that may not be enough, and we may feel like we’re carrying a heavy weight that won’t shift. Maybe it’s a constant worry or anxiety, persistent negative thoughts, unhelpful patterns or simply a sense that something isn’t right – although we can’t pinpoint it yet.

As a qualified Humanistic Integrative counsellor, working with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, overwhelm, trauma, grief, and loss – among other challenges – I can offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can start to explore what’s happening under the surface.
Your perception of the world and your experiences are unique, and this approach is at the heart of our work. I believe that you know yourself best and that you already hold the answers within you – although they may not be obvious yet, so my role is to invite you to explore your inner landscape, not to give you advice or tell you what I would do in your shoes.
I draw on a range of counselling theories, as well as my lived experience, but I’m nevertheless guided by you and walking alongside at your pace. When I step into your world, it’s with respect and care, to support you on your journey so you can move forward in ways that feel meaningful and right for you.
